Re: New guy - need help syncing

By default MediaMonkey doesn't remove files from the device that have been removed from the MMW library. You'll need to set it to delete all media files in the Device Profile to accomplish this.

Re: Unable to uninstall MM (portable) Ver.4.1.27.1897 (Windows 10

If you need a second install a Portable Install is great as it doesn't share/interfere with any settings of the regular install. If iTunes couldn't access/play the files you may have moved the files. When using multiple database dependent programs like MediaMonkey and iTunes you need to be careful w...

Stop button depends on Skin you're using. You also have right click on Player > Stop.

Play > Continuous would cause this, unless you installed an Addon to do this. Maybe upgrade to latest release: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... =8811&sd=d

That's correct, Portable Apps aren't registered with Widows as you just need to delete the folder they're installed in to "uninstall".

How are you failing to delete all content of the folder MediaMonkey is installed in? Are you sure MediaMonky isn't running when you try this?

Re: Ripping a scrambled CD

You can't make it work the same way as the VirtualCD is connecting itself to the CD when you do it your normal way.

Note that you don't need to use the normal way and can just scan the WAV file or the converted MP3 (WAV should be able to Rip to MP3) file into your Library.

Re: [SOLVED] Tags missing

Which version of MediaMonkey and any Addons you installed?

Did you make sure that the tags were missing from both MediaMonkey's Library as well as the files tags themselves? Only WAV files can cause problems due to the lag of tagging standard for it.

Re: MediaMonkey App

Do you mean MMW (Windows) or MMA (Android). In MMW check the Audio Device being used in the enabled Output Plugin (Tools > Options Output Plug-ins and configure it).

Re: iTunes like import?

MediaMonkey allows you to use your files as you want, but can move files to an organized structure automatically (as well as manual if you want more control) using Tools > Options > Auto-Organize: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.php?title=WebHelp:Changing_Filenames/4.0 Note that MediaMonkey c...

Re: Help with artwork (wrong artwork displayed)

Generally this has to do with tags or the way you store files. MediaMonkey is set to scan file directories for Artwork, which means it can pick up external Artwork for files in a folder. MediaMonkey also considers an Album where Album and Album Artist have the same values for files. This can become ...

Re: Please help, corrupt DB

Most metadata should be saved in the files tags (by default), but Play History and Playlists will be lost (MMA may have enough of both for synced files/Playlists). Also some settings and Podcast subscriptions will be lost. A sync between MMW and MMA when allowing sync from device to PC should sync b...

Playlist, start here: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.php?title=MediaMonkey_for_Android:_Working_with_Tracks/Playlists Storage generally doesn't matter, but if you use MMW to sync to MMA you can set how and where the files are stored on your device in the Device Profile: https://www.mediamonk...

Re: Synchronized playback multiroom [#7090]

Then you'd still need clients that are able to receive this (DLNA doesn't provide for that).

Multiroom is possible with Chromecast (from MMA and MM5) and often when you stay within the same manufacturers ecosystem you can get it to run multiroom for you.
