Re: RENAME MULTIPLE ALBUMS
how do i do paste a screen shot on here You cannot paste a screen shot directly "on here". This forum uses Bulletin Board technology which has limitations out of last century. The link to the MM help page shows how to work within those limitations to get a screenshot onto a post - that's ...

Re: Force Playlist to Play Songs in Correct Order
Here is a way to organise the files synced to a USB drive so that they will play in the intended sequence in a non-MM player. I bumped into this problem myself and learned that - in the stock configuration - MMW will organise files on the USB drive in accordance with the file pattern in the function...

Crash after standby
Hi, MMW 3019 was running when the PC went into standby overnight. In the morning there was a series of crash dialogs, the last of which was this one: https://i.ibb.co/q5LL5Tw/3019-crash-after-standby.png blue tumblr pictures Restarted OK. Will download and use the Debug version in case it happens ag...

Re: RENAME MULTIPLE ALBUMS
In order to have Mediamonky remove a certain number of characters from the beginning of the filename, youy can use a mask as follows: .\$mid(<Filename>,4,240) the .\ keeps the same path as you had, ie places the new file back in the same folder. the $mid(<Filename>,4,240) part keeps all characters ...

Re: Screen Zoom
Thanks Lowlander, but I don't want to mess with the system global settings, and the CTRL+MouseWheel works well for my purposes.
I think more attention is needed to the non-responsiveness of the windows controls when zoomed.
Cheers

Re: RENAME MULTIPLE ALBUMS
Organise will do what you want, but it can be a bit daunting. In order to give you specific instructions, you would have to provide some more information, specifically: The state of your data - do your files have attributes like artist, album and title populated? Or do you just have that information...

Re: [3018] Runaway CPU
I have MMW 2019 maximised idle on a Win10 i5 Surface Book and Task Manager reports 0% to 1% as you would expect. Config is in the sig block.

Re: Separate play counts
You could do this externally via the file list report. Before your trip: Select all files in your big playlist. Select File > Reports > File List Ensure that the list of fields to export includes "Played #", and export that to a CSV file (a text format compatible with Excel) This will give...

Screen Zoom
Just a note about something that I discovered by accident with version 3018 & 3019. I use a relatively small laptop screen for MMW and so fitting all desired info on the main list is a continuing struggle. MM has no view zoom commands that I am aware of (and none in the Hotkeys options), but I d...

Re: [REQ] MM5 Play One Song at a Time - IMPLEMENTED
Now that there is a stop control, it would be great if that could be selectively applied to specific songs in the Now Playing list. So, I put a bunch of songs into the playlist. What I want to do now is play them two at a time, back to back. That would work nicely if I could right click on the secon...

For the information of readers, Version 2024.3005 has a control for playing one track at a time as described by Peke above.

Re: Setting a "Start time" fails to skip to beginning
.. it still completely failed to start at the start time I asked for, instead starting at 0:00 on three different tracks ... Yes, the same has happened to me. Unfortunately, the formatting of times in the Details pane is misleading. For an unmodified track, the Start time: in Filecontextmenu > Prop...

Re: Newly added duplicate drive path for every song
The help text at Lowlander's reference to re-assign drive may not be immediately helpful because you will not find the path Collections > Locations in the media tree at left of the MM screen. This confusion arises because MM help uses the word "Collections" as shorthand for "highest l...

Re: Easy Question: Sort Order
Assuming that you are in the main file list (in the centre of the screen) then you may have to scroll sideways to see the track number column before you can click on it. If it is not in that list (It should be) then you can add it by right clicking on the column heading and chosing Add Columns. Bewa...
