Re: Ubuntu.... mediamonkey.... meant to be..?
I got MM running on Linux Mint 18.1 under PlayOnLinux but my Android phone does not show up as device in MM. It is connected as MTP device and it is shown in Linux as device. Any idea what I have to do that the device isi recognized in MM?

Re: Initial scanning very slow on Android
I installed now MM 4.1.5.1717 RC and have the same problem. Scanning of my external SD card took over 1 hour (the 10 minutes mentioned in my previous post was wrong). Obviously you cannot use autosynchronization on a regular basis if the inititial scanning takes so long. I hope this will be fixed so...

Re: Initial scanning very slow on Android
Did you find a solution? I just bought a Sony Xperia Z3 compact running Android 4.4 and have the same problem. Scanning of the internal and external SD card takes at least 10 minutes or longer. After scanning finished synchronization works without problems. But scanning takes again ages each time I ...

Re: After time switched to DST MM syncs ALL files
This weekend DST was switched in Germany and as each year in spring and autumn MM started to sync ALL files again. This problem exists now since years and nothing has changed! Could you PLEASE have a look into this bug, it is really annoying. At the moment I have only synced the ipod of my son with ...

Re: After time switched to DST MM syncs ALL files
What shoudl I exactly do? And how should I simulate the DST time change?chrisjj wrote:I think it would you be worth setting up a test device on the same computer, to narrow down the sensitivity.
I could provide you with another dbgview.zip file when syncing the ipods of my kids. Would that be helpful?

Re: After time switched to DST MM syncs ALL files
I was not able to reproduce this problem with my iPod or iPhone after DST in the US. Didn't the dbgview.zip file I provided last year give any indication what may cause this problem? As previously described, I have my music stored on a different computer than MM is running. This or another configur...

Re: Volume Analyzing bug in CD ripping
Thanks for letting me know that the first bug is already officially registered in Mantis. Although it is proposed to be solved for 3.1 and jiri commented that there should be an easy SQL implementation it is sill not fixed (and we have already MM3.2). I hope we do not need too much patience. Isn't t...

Re: Volume Analyzing bug in CD ripping
1. If you don't want every track reanalyzed, you could just disable automatic analysis for "Album gain". This sounds like a bad workaround rather than a solution and is not really an option since I need album gain. And if I totally disable automatic analysis then you can be sure that my k...

Re: Volume Analyzing bug in CD ripping
In my starting post I described three different "bugs" (or problems): 1. The first is that during ripping each time a track is ripped ALL songs are requeued for analysis and so the whole album is analysed several times. While the end result is correct, the problem is that the ripping proce...

Re: Volume Analyzing bug in CD ripping
If this is an already known long-time issue, has there already an official bug report been filed in Mantis? If you use volume analysation this is really a critical bug which makes ripping in MM almost worthless. I cannot explain my wife and my childern that they have to deactivate and reactive autom...

Re: Volume Analyzing bug in CD ripping
No comment? Does nobody analyze the tracks during ripping?
Is the described problem a common problem or specific for my configuration? I forgot to mention that I rip to flac format.
I would really appreciate any comment, since the repeated analyzation slows down ripping drastically.

Volume Analyzing bug in CD ripping
I have in MM3.2 the option "automatically analyze volume for not analyzed tracks" set and have the following problems with ripping CDs. (Note: I have NOT checked the option to adjust the volume in the ripping dialog) 1. During ripping a CD MM starts to analyze the volume immediately after ...

Re: How to change the background color in selected search text?
I just recognized that the problem is NOT completely solved. I closed and restarted MediaMonkey and the problem reappears. If I input only text WITHOUT pressing Enter the just typed in text cannot be highlighted. As soon as I select a previously saved search text or as soon as I save the current tex...
