Re: New Problem with Sansa Clips

I sync one the most; it is quite old and I've synced it a couple hundred times. It was the first to not work. The others I've synced at least once in the past couple of months. They are at least three years old. A fourth is newer, I don't know how much newer but it has the micro slot for power/synci...

New Problem with Sansa Clips

In the last week or so, all of a sudden none of my four clips will "read" the playlist sent to the device. I've been using Clips for years with zero problems so this is weird. The playlists are on the clip, I can see them in Windows Explorer, but they don't show up on the device under Playlists. Any...

Syncing with iOS 12 doesn't work

I have MM 4.1.20.1864. Updated iPhone 5 to iOS 12 this week and now MM won't sync; I got an error message saying MM wasn't compatible. Did I miss a new MM version to cover this?

Thanks.

Re: Skins: Enviro1, Enviro2 & Enviro3

Coach, you've outdone yourself with these and Electra. All of them are so beautiful and the fact you give us color options is such a bonus. I'm not near as savvy as Peke and others as far as functionality of the skins, I just know what I like and I like these. Thank you so much for your time and eff...

Re: Skins: Enviro1, Enviro2 & Enviro3

Re: Portable Install of MM, trouble updating

Sounds like you either (or both) didn't choose the Portable Install folder to install to or didn't select Portable Install in the installer and thus did a different install. http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/45/0/changing-the-default-database-location I'm pret...

Portable Install of MM, trouble updating

I have a portable install of MM that has worked great. Now, of course, with the new IOS update Monkey won't sync. I downloaded and installed the latest update today, 4.1.19.1859, and this install seemed to act different that previous ones but I really don't know as I update as little as possible. Mo...

Re: Installing mmip on Windows 7

Check that mmip files are associated with MediaMonkey in Windows: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/18539/windows-7-change-default-programs Meander, this was helpful information and I found the default program is Notepad. However, I saw nothing that would allow the mmip to automatically inst...

Thank you, Lowlander, you've come through again. Double-clicking still doesn't work, but Tools, etc. did.

Installing mmip on Windows 7

I bought a laptop from a friend that has Windows 7 installed on it. On my previous laptops (XP and Vista) all I had to do to install a mmip was double click on it. Now the mmip (I'm trying to install a skin) opens in Notebook. I have yet been able to install any skins or scripts. What do I do?

Re: Average Start Up Time for MM

Hmm, Maybe it is time to do some optimizations? 1. Use same MM.DB on MMW on Clean portable install and measure results. 2. Copy Same Mm.DB to MM5 portable Install and do Rebuild Library (watch it takes lots of time) and then use that in portable install from step 1 and measure results. 3. In...

Re: Average Start Up Time for MM

Looks like the culprit is Randomize Playlist, which really sucks because I like this one. Guess I'll remove it and see how much I miss it. Thanks everyone. I did without this script for two years as my start time was incredibly long with it installed. I just installed it again tonight and it takes ...

Re: What's this MM Skin called?

It's actually the Eclipse skin where the player has been replaced with ION-V player. I actually have done this.
