Using two computers at once, shared database
Alright guys. I've been a loyal MediaMonkey user for years and years and years. I'm hoping someone can either help me out or point me in the direction of a wiki or something. I've searched for the answer, but I can only find bits and pieces of what I *think* may work. Here's the deal. I now have two...

Re: MM4 creating duplicates when I rip a CD
I should be clear in that it only creates one file on the computer like it should--the duplicate is in MM's database.

Re: MM4 creating duplicates when I rip a CD
Yes and yes. I've also used the shortcut that appears just to see if that would make a difference. It still creates two entries for each track, both identical.

MM4 creating duplicates when I rip a CD
I looked and couldn't find an answer, and I really need this to be fixed. Basically, I rip a CD and it creates two identical entries for each track. I'm totally confused as to why, all the settings (as far as I can tell) are correct. I love MM4 except for this. Please tell me it's an easy fix!! :(

Re: Is MM suitable and quick enough to handle 170.000 tracks?
I have 223,000 tracks (1381 GB) with a database file around 530 MB. I use two different laptops for two different DJ setups. My new HP with 7 runs great. If you try to access the whole database it can take about 30 seconds to load--not bad, considering. The other, older laptop has XP and takes FOREV...

Well, then, if you're in the states or Canada--don't buy them! As far as I know, I'm not doing anything illegal . Honestly, I just don't want to see this collection go into the trash bin.

Re: Won't create .xls report!
I don't understand why it won't just create the file. Does it use excel in order to do that?

Won't create .xls report!
So I desperately need to create a .xls report. I don't have Excel, but I do have Open Office. When I try to create an .xls file, it says "Excel not found. Try again." Help!!!!

Re: Auto-tag from web...: HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request [BUG# 5605]
just sayin' not everyone is a thieving douche. I happen to be a thieving douche, and proud to admit it. The beauty of this program (and MM is one of the very few I've paid for) is that it will take the shiat that one gets from torrents and organizes it. That's what I paid for, and that's what I exp...

Re: Auto-tag - Couldn't show results: HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request
For script related questions please reply in the scripts thread on the forum so that the author of the script can respond to your issues. Really dude? I know you are a regular 'round here, but this obviously is an issue that people are concerned about. Why have them go to another thread if this one...

Re: Auto-tag - Couldn't show results: HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request
The problem with a new release is that all other feature changes need to be tested. So although this issue has been addressed in a new build other changes need to be tested before a new release can be made. We wouldn't want a fix to this issue result in other bugs. So, easy fix. Release the next bu...
