Export Auto Playlist then Import After Deleting old DB
This particular question is bugging me and I can't seem to find a simple answer. My DB has become corrupted so when trying to sync mp3 music files to my iPod's they do not sync properly when I change the Auto Playlist properties even though MM4 reflects the change(s) correctly. I am having to restor...

Re: I switched to MediaMonkey, and this is why...
This is an older thread but why not bring it up-to-date. Back in 2005 I sold my bungalow, paid off the mortgage and put a few coppers away... Bought a motorhome to go travelling and was looking for a way to get my 600 cd's digitized as lugging them around Europe was a no no... found a 60GB 2.5"...

Re: auto playlist that points to contents of folder on C: dr
okay, that answers that one... no, the tracks are not already scanned in to library they are newly aquired waiting to be tagged I was just looking for a quicker way to access the folder rather than go the My Computer, etc
I did use backslash rather then forward that was a typo.
Thanks for the answer

Re: auto playlist that points to contents of folder on C: dr
thanks for the reply
the folder I would like to add to auto playlist is directly on the C: drive namely 'C:/Music to edit' the location of which I have put in the path/filename (same as you suggest) but nothing appears in the playlist even though there is 3GB of mp3 files in there...

auto playlist that points to contents of folder on C: drive
is it possible to create an auto playlist in MM 4.07.1506 which lists all the tracks inside a particular folder on C: drive? I can create an auto playlist no problem but can't see an option in the advanced search criteria drop down menu to point to a particular folder (& include all sub folders)...

Re: Album Art Tagger 4.9 - Updated 27/02/2011
I am trying to change the album art in all my mp3 music files so stumbled across this script. All my mp3's are in individual album folders and within each folder is an image of the front album cover named folder.jpg. What I would like to achieve is to embed the image into the mp3 file AND have a lin...

which file to backup and then restore?
Hi to all Have managed to backup enough files & folders to restore MM3.2.4.1304 back to how I like it including skins, scripts, addons, etc. The only thing that does not seem to restore as previous is the column spaces and which columns I use... they seem to restore as default. Can some kind sou...

32 bit to 64 bit
Hi to all
I have just installed 64 bit version of Win 7 on a spare drive to try it out. Can I use the MM3 settings, database, etc from a previous Win 7 32 bit installation and copy them into relevant folders for the new 64 bit version without any problems ?
TIA

Re: not adding tracks to library when editing tags
Thanks for the reply Where is the folder with the unedited music located? It may be easier to just segregate it from your current music library by placing it in a different area on your PC. This way the tracks won't be added to MediaMonkey, allowing you to edit them in your own time and manually pla...

not adding tracks to library when editing tags
Hi to all Is there any way to stop MM3 adding tracks to the library database when editing the tags? I keep my new music files in a separate folder until I have edited the tags to my liking then I transfer them to my music folder. Problem is whilst I am editing the tags they seem to automatically get...
