Re: Playlist of albums?
An early version of the Custom Nodes add-on had an Album option to display all "Complete Albums". It was based on an SQL query that is something like: ID IN (SELECT IDAlbum FROM Songs GROUP BY IDAlbum HAVING Count(TrackNumber) = Max(Cast(TrackNumber As integer)) AND Count(TrackNumber) > 3)...

Re: Holding on to some MM4 features
I am running MMW4 and MMW5 on the same "library". I can therefore "Lyricate", run "Tagging Inconsistencies" and use "Magic Nodes" on the library using MMW4 yet benefit from the arguably better synching of MMW5. One PC is Windows 11 / MMW5 whilst the other is W...

Re: Quick way to alphabetize genres
Yes in Magic Nodes select Multi-item fields then Multi-item Genre, select a specific node in the tree and press F2 to edit. For example, select Punk; New Wave and change to New Wave; Punk. You should a message below "xx files to be tagged". I would let this complete before making the next ...

Re: [REQ] Additional Items for Media Monkey Library Statistic Report
Thanks Andre, I am using Access often - but tend to using the Report / File List route to import the data (so I am not working on the direct MM.DB). This works fine for the "quality" reports but the Playlist reporting looks like it will be a little more difficult! My current thinking is to...

Re: [REQ] Additional Items for Media Monkey Library Statistic Report
Hi Ludek,
Thanks for reply. I can do the first two by Reporting a Filelist as CSV and then doing the analysis / report externally.
I could probably do something by parsing the Export of Playlists to handle the last point - again externally.
Perhaps I should have a go at Add-Ons!

[REQ] Additional Items for Media Monkey Library Statistic Report
Please could the Media Monkey Library Statistics Report (available from File / Reports / Statistics) be extended to include a few sections on the Quality of the library contents. For example: 1). Type vs Count of File Type Rows for Audiobooks / Classical / Music / Podcast vs a count of the Tracks th...

Re: Hidizs AP80 Pro - Multi disc album handling
Consider using CUE Splitter software (if the "split" information is available) to unpack the Album FLAC into Track FLACs. Use MMW5 to change the filenames to the "right" sort order e.g. <Album Artist>-<Album> <Disc#><Track#>-<Title> i.e. something like "10cc-Essential 10cc 0...

Re: Export/Create Playlists 4 Child Nodes 4.0 (2013-07-10)[MM2+]
Hi SnowBear416, I would suggest you take a look at the Add-Ons web site: http://solair.eunet.rs/~zvezdand/ExportM3UsForSubNodesNew.htm This will explain some of the details. Also, there are free and paid versions. I think if you just rename the folders, then MMW4 will need to "Locate" the ...

Re: SQL editor addon usage?
Hi, To export a flat file I would use the Menu option - File / Menu / Reports / File List. This exports the current selection. So you may want to go the the "Entire Library" node and click on "All Tracks". Don't forget to select everything. For example, use Ctrl+A. Next you want ...

Re: SQL editor addon usage?
After installing an Add-On, it is good practise to come out of MMW5 and restart the program. The SQL Editor icon is found on the 2nd "line" of the main screen and to the right hand side. The exact location will depend on how many Add-Ons and Icons are installed. If you have a tool bar set ...

Re: Playback order
Hi Chris, I suspect that you will find the files are sorted in the Media Monkey <TimeStamp> ascending order. This normally (initially) corresponds to the Windows Explorer [Date Created] or [Date Modified]. You can see the above by showing in either Windows Explorer ([Date Created] or [Date Modified]...

Re: Classical Music Composers
I am not certain if this will achieve what you want but consider this. In MMW5 create a "top-level" playlist for the "Composer" then underneath this create separate playlists for each of the "works". Let's consider Sergei Prokofiev as an example, then it go something li...
