Re: Crash during sync
Thanks for the info re: the long sync pauses. Pretty much explains that (except for the fact that my 'pauses' are more like 4-5 minutes instead of the listed times. Regarding the freezing on sync, I have just done what I needed to do to make this stop happening and I spent hours making that happen, ...

Re: Crash during sync
Random tracks. Random numbers of fast syncs between the freezes. All songs are mp3 format.

Re: Crash during sync
An update: I broke my 30K iPhone playlist into 9 smaller playlists, and I'm having better luck with that. One thing that has remained consistent, however. The sync will be moving along nicely, then it will pause for a very, very long time on one song. Typically it will start syncing again at the nor...

Crash during sync
Environment is Windows 10 (Build 18936) syncing to an iPhone X (iOS 13 Beta 2). Trying to sync a playlist, MM consistently crashes during the sync. The Log ID generated is BD7A8C4C. I have sent multiple logs successfully after this happens. Please let me know how to proceed. Thanks. --Tony

Re: Malware app blocking MM5 outbound connections
I do not have a proxy server running. Also, the virus software reports that the module trying to connect to the foreign URL is mediamonkeyengine.exe. Any further thoughts?

Malware app blocking MM5 outbound connections
I am running MM5 and I have had several instances thus far of my virus app blocking outbound connections to websites tagged mostly for trojans. The most frequent site is barreiras.ba.gov.br. Why would MM5 be trying to connect 1) to a site known for contain trojans, and 2) trying to connected to a Bo...

Re: "Smart" sync to iPhone?
Peke - Thanks for the roadmap to that setting...my brain seems to have gone on summer vacation. I did a small playlist test similar to what you did. If I set the device to auto-sync when connected and sync only the test playlist, the "smart" sync works fine. Previously, I was not auto-sync...

Error dialog on MM application open (4.1.25.1886)
When I open MM, I get the following error dialog. I click Ok and all seems to work fine. Perhaps this is a bug in this beta version? Thanks. --Tony
"Error Connecting to Media Monkey... Closing Application" (dialog with OK button)

Re: "Smart" sync to iPhone?
Hi Pavle. Thanks for your reply. I looked all around the options/menus and did not find the option to which you refer. Sorry to be so lame, but could you guide me to where that option is in MM? Thank you. --Tony

[SOLVED] "Smart" sync to iPhone?
I have a large playlist that I use with my iPhone. I thought after the initial sync, subsequent syncs would be "smart", i.e., rather than just re-syncing all playlist songs, MM would scan my iPhone and only sync changes. Instead, it seems that MM syncs the entire playlist every single time...
