Answer:
I executed the usb sync before I created the log.
Do you need more logs? I can reset mediamonkey and try to reproduce the issue.
Can you instruct me at which step you need a log?

I tested beta 827 and the library got updated. but some meta data like rating and last playtime are missing.

FYI: I got the ratings back again!
After a reboot of the phone I had to sync the same tracks again and now the metadata like rating was updated.
It seems that there is still something wrong, but this workaround fixed it.

Hi finally was able to send the log via the app.
Problem still persists.

MMA version: 1.3.2.0824
I can initiate the scan from options and new files are then recongnised.

I have the same problem on Samsung S8 with Android 8.0.0. MMW 4.1.21.1875 and MMA 1.3.2.082 beta is used.

If I initiate scan from Options then the new files are recognized.

PS: On my phone (maybe due to encryption on the phone and sd card) after sync the rating and played and skip number is empty. See viewtopic.php?f=21&t=90720

Which version of MMA. Can you initiate scan from Options to get the new files recognized?

You can send a debug log (from About) after sync, before files are recognized and open a Support Ticket with the logID.

Hi everyone,

I used to be able to synch my device (Nexus 5X, android 8.1.0) without any problems.
Now since a few weeks every time I synch the device nothing happens after unplugging the usb cable.
Normally I would see the app reading the files and adding/removing content.

Now I need to play one of the removed tracks so that it can't play it and will start reading my device for the correct files.
Once I do this all the other content gets synched as well. Pretty weird.

Any suggestions?
