but it was either that wmp update i got from micorsoft. or the new firewall install added a file that was needed.?

something seems to have kicked in to start working? :) don't want to start looking in to the files as i might jinks it and make it stop? :o[/list]

[list] the micro players in alpha 2 seemed to come back and work but only where the skin files were in an unzipped folder[/list]


in alpha 3 i got the micro player working for all the skins inside a zipped msz file. but i have to use the settings for the close button and the option i need to select is the one called " Close to Tray " if that is selected then when i click the red exit button in the upper corner of the program.
it will place the microplayer in the taskbar.

not sure what happened or if you got it working that way.

but that is what i have to do on this computer, i just wanted to update this thread with the new information.
