You can thank (or better swear at) the inventors of the ID tagging system for the composer-as-artist-problem because they origjnally left no field for composer. As a consequence early taggers of classical albums put composer in the artist field - assuming most people were more interested in composer than in artist. It's an album database problem not a Media Monkey problem.
Bearing that in mind, is there any chance of a teeny weeny bit of code in the future that allows us to tell MM that Artist and/or Album Artist = Composer. For me, as a classical nut, Composers always come first and I only really need the artists with different recordings of the same music.
