Don't scan files before fixing the Path. Fixing Path should be the first step.

Glad it worked out.

The song ratings showed up today. It was after I did a scan of my song folders. I think the problems was that previously, I scanned and then ran the script to correct the song locations. This time, the correction had already been run.
In any case, 3,000 song ratings are back!
Thanks!

By default the Ratings are stored in both the database and the files (for most file types). This means that if you used the old database and updated the Paths that the Ratings should still be shown in MediaMonkey.

Song Ratings Lost on System Restore

I just had to rebuild my Windows 10 system and reload all files from backup. The song star ratings for the most part have not been recovered. How can I recover the song ratings?

(I have used the "Update locations of files in database" script to compensate for the new location of the songs.)

Thanks.
