I'm not sure if this already being discussed, but I couldn't find a thread. I read today that Apple has released new Windows store apps (Apple Music, TV, and Devices) that are replacing iTunes on Windows. As a test, I installed these. The Apple Devices app installation required me to remove the Apple Mobile Device Support. At the end of the installation, I found, unsurprisingly, that this broke the compatability of MediaMonkey 5 will my iPhones. As an experiment, I tried installing the Apple Mobile Device Support separately. But this broke the new Apple Devices app. So, I uninstalled the new apps and reinstalled iTunes and all is back to normal.
Going forward, what are the plans to get around this issue, if any? While iTunes is still available, this shouldn't be a major problem for the present.
