MediaMonkey (or any other app) can't connect to the Windows store version of Devices app..
But iTunes desktop and iMazing ( https://imazing.com/ ) can download the needed service (Apple Mobile Device) and install it..
Then MediaMonkey can connect to the service..

Downloading and installing the service by our own is a TODO ( https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view ... 717#c74256 )

Has this been implemented in MediaMonkey for Windows 2024.0.0.3005 Beta?

I use Media Monkey to sync my Pixel 7a with my music library on my Windows 11 laptop with my phone. Previously the Windows software I used was iTunes for my day-to-day music playing. However, with the sunsetting of iTunes on Windows how do I sync my library between MMW5 and the Android app?

New Windows store Apple apps replacing iTunes [#19717]

I'm not sure if this already being discussed, but I couldn't find a thread. I read today that Apple has released new Windows store apps (Apple Music, TV, and Devices) that are replacing iTunes on Windows. As a test, I installed these. The Apple Devices app installation required me to remove the Apple Mobile Device Support. At the end of the installation, I found, unsurprisingly, that this broke the compatability of MediaMonkey 5 will my iPhones. As an experiment, I tried installing the Apple Mobile Device Support separately. But this broke the new Apple Devices app. So, I uninstalled the new apps and reinstalled iTunes and all is back to normal.

Going forward, what are the plans to get around this issue, if any? While iTunes is still available, this shouldn't be a major problem for the present.
