Hi,
Sony A105 proved OK by few users here.

Thank you both for these replies. At the time of this posting, I ended up getting a Fiio M7 per Peke's suggestion. But it has now been a couple years, and I'm getting sort of frustrated with the Fiio. I'd like to upgrade it to something a little more reliable.

A friendly bump, any new recommendations?

You could also think about using an old smartphone which you could get for a dirty cheap price (unless you already have one). My old Galaxy S4 mini does an excellent job here. Of course you need a microSD card with enough memory in addition.

Hi,
FiiO M6 (With WiFi) and M7 (With FM) are nice devices, I had M6 for a few days on test in it is great device, but as you are out of internet mostly maybe you should consider M7. On both of them you should even be able to install MMA (Pro not yet Available).

Hey guys, new member here although I have been using MM for many years. Thought I would register here to ask you all a pretty big question!

Recently it has come to my attention that I could be using an MP3 player with Bluetooth headphones. This would be a world changing development for me.

So now I'm asking: what are some general recommendations about a new mp3 player?

I live out in the woods away from internet connection and cell reception. All my music is hard copied, and managed exclusively through MM. I have been using a FiiO x1 happily for many years.

Requirements :
Affordable
Headphone aux jack
Bluetooth
SM/TF card slot
Syncs with MM (obviously)

Something that functions similarly to the old X1 would be nice, but not necessary. I can learn.

So far, my search has taken me to something called the SOULCKER which looks pretty good...

The Sony Walkmans also intrigued me. But I can't seem to justify the price...

What are some personal testimonials?
Thanks!
