Could it be that the drive is in sleep mode and MediaMonkey times out accessing it, thus trying the next file?

Which version of MediaMonkey and are you playing files from the local hard drive?

Hi

I click on a song in either the main pane or the 'now playing' pane. The clicked upon song does not play, does not go bold but rather the subsequent song in the list goes bold and starts to play.
I can get the desired song to play by clicking on the song prior to it.
This behaviour does not happen 100% of the time - maybe 80%.
I have a large music collection if that makes a difference.
