Can you upload somewhere that last track and send us a link so that we can better analyze.
The image of that last track was in that last archive.

Ok I added http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=14709 for evaluation of source code.

In your last image it looks like resized/smaller folder.jpg rather than original image.

Can you upload somewhere that last track and send us a link so that we can better analyze.

The 3 images do not appear identical in MMW, the bottom one being most noticeable(darker). Can you replicate?

I'm unable to replicate, can you confirm that colors are off if you grad and drop each file to MMW Art and details window to assign Album art for a track?

I have 3 versions of the 'same' png file. They are 4 Bits Per Pixel, 8 BPP, and 24 BPP. This should not affect how the image looks, since only 8 colours are actually being used. When opened in a regular image viewer or just viewed as thumbnails in windows explorer they look identical as they should.
However when placed into a folder with songs and viewed as album art in MMW they are incorrectly decoded, the colours are off.

Please have a look and try it yourselves: 7z archive of IMG SAMPLES
