I have 3 versions of the 'same' png file. They are 4 Bits Per Pixel, 8 BPP, and 24 BPP. This should not affect how the image looks, since only 8 colours are actually being used. When opened in a regular image viewer or just viewed as thumbnails in windows explorer they look identical as they should.
However when placed into a folder with songs and viewed as album art in MMW they are incorrectly decoded, the colours are off.
