Hi,
I usually use Right Click -> Open With -> Choose Program and then manually set program I want you use as each time you set an application it stays in the list, so for MMIP I set 7Zip also in order to be able to extract and edit plugins and scripts.

Meander, this was helpful information and I found the default program is Notepad. However, I saw nothing that would allow the mmip to automatically install. Do you have any more guidance? I couldn't see a way to associate it to MM.

Thank you, Lowlander, you've come through again. Double-clicking still doesn't work, but Tools, etc. did.

Installing mmip on Windows 7

by rrfpacker » Sun Oct 15, 2017 5:56 pm

I bought a laptop from a friend that has Windows 7 installed on it. On my previous laptops (XP and Vista) all I had to do to install a mmip was double click on it. Now the mmip (I'm trying to install a skin) opens in Notebook. I have yet been able to install any skins or scripts. What do I do?
