Cautiously optimistic! I've made the swap, and played entirely through a highly problematic album** without a crash. Onto another now that's also triggered the crashes. Will try to play as much as possible over the next 24 hours, and update my bug report with findings, either way. (Sooner if the crash returns, of course.)
** I did find the crashes seem related to given folders of MP3s. Seemed I'd "fixed it" myself, following a reboot, until I went back and replayed a folder that had previously "caused" the crash and it returned. The real oddity is, it's unrelated to specific tracks! Couldn't consistently force-replicate the issue, other than by playing certain folders/albums all the way through... The crash would then occur randomly as MM moved from one track to the next.
Hi, for all that can replicate the crash in 4.1.19.1854. Could you please replace your current id3lib.dll in the MM install folder by this one https://www.dropbox.com/s/14jnunmf10ak75o/id3lib.dll?dl=0
and tell us whether it solves the issue?
