Hi,
As first start make sure you are using latest Beta from https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... 86639&sd=d as it includes many stability issues, tweaks and fixes.

Hi,
Multiple MediaMonkey.exe usually means that several MMW apps are started with different credentials.

Can you please create support Ticket and supply us with log file where you restarted MMW few times http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=69

Thanks. I do understand about the instance of MediaMonkey Service but I also get extra MediaMonkey processes, one for each start of MM, in addition to the Service.

That means you enable the MediaMonkey Service at some point. This will run when MediaMonkey itself isn't running allowing you DLNA and wifi sync access to MediaMonkey.

Background MM processes after exit

I have noticed that every time I start and exit MM, it leaves an additional background process running. I do let MM finish scanning drives and reading files so the UI is 'idle'. These are in addition to the MediaMonkeyService.exe I am using.

I currently have 7 MM background processes in addition to the foreground one. Whilst MM is running in the foreground the background Service closes and restarts after foreground MM exits.

MM - 4.1.18.1852 on Windows 10
Cheers
