Dates should always show in the Windows date format. Control panel > Region > Short date

Formating dates - how's it done?

Hi,

I've been using Mediamonkey for a year or two now to tag thousands of music files. I'm very pleased with it. There's only one thing I can't find out how to change.

For example, if I want to insert the recording date(s) of a particular piece, I might write in the 'original date' window

18 December 1952, 10-12 March 1953

This, MediaMonkey changes to the year 2030, which isn't very helpful. It also changes dates like 5 January 1944 to 5/1/1944 - a format I particularly want to avoid because UK and US date formats are different. 5/1/1944 can mean either 5 January 1944 or 1 May 1944. So I prefer to use the name of the month rather than a number.

How do I rectify these two issues?

I've looked into the options, but find nothing there.
