If you were editing multiple files (less than 100 though) then it could be issue http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=14583 to be fixed in the next version.

Otherwise sending crash report from the debug build would be useful to see what is going on.

I have had to restart 3 times now. I was playing music and trying to edit the Properties adding year or album. The music gets stuck and just keeps playing on a loop but only 15 seconds worth
