Sweet, thanks TripleM. I spent ages trying to figure out why all my files had gone grey and weren't playing.

Downloaded the files from Microsoft and everything's working now. So glad I found your post. Was about to go ape on my pc lol.

They are probably grey because MMW keeps track of where the files physically are .. drive ID. If they are now on a different drive it wont understand.
Try File/Find Locate Missing Files. If they have the same structure then i have found this always finds them.

TripleM: I've tried to play some files from MS network (path like \\CompName\mp3\test.mp3) and it plays without problem on Windows 10. How do you share the files? Could you generate us [url=http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=341]debug log[/url] from playback attempt? Thanks.

My WDMyCloud has an option under Settings/Media to turn on media streaming, and then permit or not each device on the network to access this function. May be worth looking for similar on your NAS.

Hey everybody!

Today i installed a clean version of Windows 10 and moved my MediaMonkey Database and Settings there.
Everything works fine, except the fact ,that I can't play files (just tested with mp3 so far) from my network shares.
The files become grey (like as if the path would be invalid).
I can play the files with any other Player(like VLC). Also the path of the files in my MM Database is correct. When I rightclick on a mp3 on my network share and say "open with MediaMonkey", Media Monkey can't play it as well.

Could you please fix this?
I also tried the latest beta. But it doesn't work there as well.
