1349: FLV files not imported [#7326]

Ok problem solved, the collection was video podcasts, so .flv weren't showing as they can't be tagged. Everything works fine with a video collection.

Hmm, seems to be a problem with the collection I have set up. They are added to my library but aren't shown under the collection where I was expecting, with the other files in the same folders.

I'll have a closer look and do a debug log over the weekend.

I cannot reproduce it. For me, this file is scanned ok and added to my library. Do you have FLV extension enabled in rescan dialog - File Types? If so, please make debuglog of scanning folder with this one file. Thanks.
Note, MM4 cannot tag FLV files yet.

I've just noticed that I'm having problem with a number of .flv files not showing up in my library. I'm using build 1426 with the most recent codec pack (2.0.0.14).

They play perfectly in MM4, but are not added to the library and tags don't work with them. They also aren't shown as failing to import after a rescan.

Hmm, reproduced, thanks. Issue reopened.

Edit: fixed in build 1381. The file has non-standard format. MM can handle it from this build.

Thanks KJIAAC. This file does not exactly correspond to FLV format specification in one header value and MM assumes now, it has wrong format. Will be fixed in the next build (1354), I've permitted this variation.

Yes, FLV files are not importable now at all (the old way did not work well and was causing more problems), will be fixed in the mentioned issue 7326.

The bug description reads:

0007326: Some flv files aren't read correctly

But it seems that in fact none are read correctly with 1349. (Meanwhile it had been working with at least most flv files)

Yes, same here, just to clarify...

It's only flv files that I had imported pre-1349 that I can tag and the tags are preserved.

New flv files won't import and if I try to tag them the tags aren't preserved.

I made a fresh installation. When i try to tag them in the "My Computer" node, the tag values are not preserved.
