It is perfectly possible to "Play to" Denon Zone 2/3 speakers, but this, as far as I'm aware, can only be set up in the Denon directly.
I don't believe that any Denon will expose multiple DMR destinations over the network for display/selection within a "Play to" media player on Windows 7/8.
So my Denon 3808, for example, is seen as a single device ("Network Audio") in Windows 8.1, and can be used as a "Play to" destination by Windows 8 media players such as MM. The audio stream is seen on the Denon's NET/USB input, and can be directed to zones 1, 2, or 3 (or combination thereof) by settings made on the Denon.
