Moerlinius, is an alternative call method possible? Maybe Skype, Telegram, or WhatsApp would better suit your needs. All three offer free calls via the Internet so you could hang up when your partner leaves to do something else and call again later.

MXPlayer is an unique app especially for x265 that I love to stream over WiFi.

Strangely I never had need for resuming playback while on call.
I can't seams to use start that option?

Any others interested in this? It seems like a pretty unique case (that wouldn't involve a trivial amount of work).

This could prove hard to make. Have you seen any other app that can do that?

Sometimes I have to bridge an active telephone call simply some time because my conversation partner does something different.
Since I would like to start the function during the conversation the playback again.
Of course this should only be output on my headphones and my vocal partner did not notice anything from.
Discussing and recalling the call is unfortunately not an option, because it is partly a matter of mainstream or telephone exchanges ...
