fyi, I'm not seeing this behavior. If you observe it again, please post a log.

btw, if Rivorson's hypothesis that it's your car that's triggering playback is correct, then presumably just making a call over bluetooth and then hanging up (via the vehicle button) should also trigger playback. Does it?

I get that too, but it's actually the car that sends the play command when the call ends. MMA is just following the instruction given by the car. It's likely that your car is doing the same.

With 1.3.0.695, connecting by Bluetooth to the car, I ran into this yesterday. Google Navigation uses the bluetooth connection to give directions. I was going into heavy traffic, so I paused the music (on the phone, sure wish there was a more driving-friendly control for this) for less distraction, but kept the BT connection & audio system on to hear the directions.

Then I received a phone call; when I ended the call, MMA re-started the music. Maybe this isn't fixable with a BT connection, I dunno.

Fixed in 1.3.0.694.

No Bluetooth.
Connected by cable to PC, audio jack is connected.
The connection to the PC is not relevant as I found out.
Keeps resuming whether the pause or the stop buttons is used.
Difference between the stop and pause button behavior is that the stop button (only available when accessing the player in the notification area) will have an effect of stopping playback for a few seconds, while the pause button will stop the playback for about a minute.

Could it be Bluetooth connecting?

Hello,

When the option "resume play on connection" is enabled for wired headphones, the player keeps on turning back on as long as the headphones remain plugged in. This is not butt-play, because it happens even when the phone is lying completely immobile n my desk or couch.
