Any DLNA capable device would do. However there are NAS devices with HDMI and audio out like: https://www.qnap.com/en/product/model.p ... 14&event=2

Newbie - NAS to pre-amp?

I am brand new to this board and not sure if this is the right place for my question.

I have a decent (but old) Hi-Fi system and currently have CD player and turntable feeding into a Lexicon CP-3 Pre-Amp (Sound processor) through Audio-in RCA jacks.

I have ripped my large collection of CD's to MP3 files (about 450 GB) to external drive on PC.

I am envisioning purchasing a NAS drive and driving it using Media Monkey on my Android tablet...

No sure where to go from here....Are there NAS drives with Audio outputs? Or do I need a converter of some sort? I.e. the question is how do I physically connect from NAS drive to the pre-amplifier?

Am I dreaming or is this achievable? Or do I need to finally retire my Lexicon unit and get newer technology preamp? Specific brand recommendations would be appreciated.
