Can someone simplify this for a dummy like me?
Q1. Does this only work with MM4 and not MM5?
Q2. Does this locate "Genre" tags?

I don't know if using this add on correctly but when I select "All" files under a folder label. I would expect the discogs batch software "in batch mode" to recognise that the files are under different albums. Instead it just says 1 album. With I start the program I get the following error code Autoit Error Line 31461 (C:\Users\.......\Scripts\DiscogsBatchTagger.exe

Thanks
Hey,

in Batch Mode the Discogs Batch Tagger need files, which are already assigned to one or more albums in MediaMonkey.

First assign the files to the album(s) in Mediamonkey, after that, you can tag them.

If you still get an error, please send me the Discogs_Batch_Script.log file from the Scripts folder.

Apologies if this has been covered prior, but could help me populate my Discogs collection
since they don't seem to support Inventory uploading any more.

Any help?
Hi,

i just added the requested option. You can enable it in the options menu of the Tagger Window.

Scary!
We found the reason. After starting the Script a window appear, where you can set the mode.

If you choose „Album“ = All selected songs belonging to one album <- WRONG
If you choose „Batch“ = Check all the selected albums <- RIGHT

Move the mouse cursor over one of the options, you will see a tooltip with a short description.

Could you please post or send me the logfile? You can find it here: c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\mediamonkey\scripts\Discogs_Batch_Script.log

Thank you!

Hi Peke

Thanks for the additional information.

I reported as false positive to Emsisoft, I'll check again in a few days and resubmit if required.

Cheers

Hi,
Usually reports like "GenericKD" are an result of Heuristic analysis signature checks, that often result in false positive.

I remember once that I made small simple app (for internal use in testing) that generated small HASH from System Info like CPU+RAM SIZE+Workstation name and it was flagged as Generic trojan so I allowed to be sent as sample app. Thought it was enough when after few days i compiled app again and then Got High risk of app containing Trojan/keygen. Reported FAlse positive again, Few days later no issues found.

Yeah, that's what I thought it would turn out to be.

Still, best to check and be safe rather sorry!

Cheers Lowlander.

Likely false positive, antivirus can be trigger happy when it comes to scripts, you'll probably find this reported a few times in this thread and it turned out to be false.
