Yes, checking the website it's still available for download: https://www.rik.onl/mediamonkey/search.php?all=scripts

What MediaMonkey itself offers: https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/ind ... ate-tracks

Alternative: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... =2&t=13000

Is this program still available as an add-on for MediaMonkey, and may I get answers to questions here? I find no conversation about this program for the last 12 years?

I know this thread has been dormant for some time however, I'm new to MM and am hoping someone can give me some guidance regarding how to use the script properly to have it actually delete any duplicates. I have a rather larger Library and took the time to run the script, listen and tag all my dupes however I expected when I got to the end to have an option to delete the dupes but that wasn't the case. Will MM remember what i've tagged? Was hoping that might be the case and that there might be an option so next time I run the script I can set the options to delete the dupes that I previously tagged? If this is the case what do I need to set within the script options to have it delete anything I've tagged as a dupe? I spent about 16 hours tagging duplicate files and sorting what I want to keep so I'm really hoping that I can somehow use this report to delete the tagged files.

Sorry if this is a "newbie" question but any help is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Great script. Couple of questions.

Is there a way to not show groups where all the flags are SOFT? Is it possible to enforce the length rule so that if track lengths are more than the specified difference in seconds they aren't grouped as dupes?

Thanks for this scirpt! Looks awesome :)

But I can't get it to work to find and delete the duplicate tracks on my Ipod.

What i did:

1) I selected all the tracks (Sidebar-> Ipod -> artist -> all) so they appear in the main window
2) run the script (file > report > duplicate report)
3) Match mode : title and I checked "Use selected"
3) the scritp works fine (no errors) but tells me that it has found no duplicates.

What did I do wrong? Can somebody help me?

Thanks a lot! :)

Just discovered this and added it to MM. One question- how do I get all of my duplicate content to appear in the main window? I have about 5000+ duplicate songs and would like to have all of them appear in the main window. As it is, when I expand the Duplicate Content tree, I can only select one instance at a time, which is obviously very time consuming. I tried Shift+ drag, Ctrl+A, and a few other key combos but don't seem to be able to highlight all the instances.

Advice would be welcomed!

Is anyone using this add-on? Who is the current developer of this add-on?

Here are some examples. How do I get the Duplicate Report to list these variations in the report, so that I can at least correct them manually? These are only examples. I know there are others where the title differ due to one title using
N vs And
in Vs Ing

Kinks Rock And Roll Fantasy
Bad Company Rock N Roll Fantasy
Amy Grant Rockin Around The Christmas Tree
Toby Keith Rocking Around The Christmas Tree
Bill Haley Saints Rock And Roll
Bill Haley Saints Rock N Roll
John Anderson Swingin
Deana Carter Swinging
Terri Clark Walkin After Midnight
Cowboy Junkies Walking After Midnight
Everly Brothers You've Lost That Lovin Feelin
Elvis Presley You've Lost That Loving Feeling (Live)

Should my question above be posted in a different forum?

Req: Duplicate Report usage help needed

I would like to determine if Duplicate Report has an option to 'exlude' the artist field and 'fuzzy match' ONLY the title field?

Example I have

Kansas - Dust In The Wind vs. Kansas Dust in the Wide

or

Boston - More Than A Feeling vs. Boston vs. More Than A Feeling Intro

Or find 'similar titles like'

Rock N Roll vs Rock And Roll

I think I found a solution poking around (in case anyone else needs to find a solution)
The Advance Duplicate Find and Fix script has a 'folder' with a suboption Traces with Same Content
If you 'search' for duplicates with every field checked as required to be the same then the script as a folder
Create Keep/Delete Suggestion Nodes, under that there is a node 'Delete Suggestions. This node lists ONE
of the Duplicates that meet your 'matches'. So as long as you have your 'exact matches' checkboxes criteria set correctly this 'Delete Suggestions' node should list your 'exact matches' duplicates (as I described in my problem in my previous post). I hope this helps some other 'newbies' in the future.
