It was enabled at first but we found out that increased risk o migrating/updating the forum so we disabled it to make it safer and stable.

This is a phpBB driven forum, why don't the admin simply allow/switch on uploading images as other forums do?

This is obviously just one or two clicks to get this running and would help a lot especially when inserting inline images for better explanations.

I ran into it today. While I was posting on different topic I tried to insert following image:

https://i.imgur.com/NzXZqNi.jpg

Image link from Imgur won't display if you don't add .jpg or .png extension

[img]https://imgur.com/NzXZqNi[/img]

After adding .jpg to the address it displays immediately:

[img]https://imgur.com/NzXZqNi.jpg[/img]
