ok folks i've gone through your suggestions, unfortunately all i get is the error code License invalid.

Both License Username (usually full name) and Key need to be entered as provided: https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/ind ... is-invalid

I also have used MM gold for many years and had to reinstall on new machines or OS upgrades and I've never had an issue activating gold.
All I can suggest is to copy and paste the code from your email. If you don't have that any more and you've written it down then you must be sure that every single character and space is exactly correct.

Hi folks i'm a loooong time over of MMgold and even have a copy of MM on my phone,

my win10 pc crashed and i've just reinstalled the software but it is stuck at basic level refusing to accept my registration code it's valid for 4.x
