Not that, did you contact Rusty by PM?

Oh yes. I did use the link that they provided and was able to update my program. And thank ya'll so much for the info. However, as I said, I am still unable to login to support even thought the username/password is supposed to be the same. So as it stands right now, if I need to contact technical support, I can't. Thanks again.

Did you do what lowlander suggested and PM Rusty?

Hello Lowlander and thanks for your assistance. Please forgive me for not being clear. I was not referring to you but to the MM company and not being able to access them. The situation that I had is still there. I have updated my password twice. Both times (and before changing them) I have been able to login to the forum with the new password. When I try to login to the MM helpdesk, my username and/or password is not recognized. This is the case whether I am logged into the Forum or not. My frustration is that I cannot get this issue solved without being able to login to Support and Support login does not recognize my username and/or password. If you know of a way to contact support without logging in I would surely appreciate it. Thanks again

I'm a human, not a robot.

You don't need to login to support for your License, it is at a different place under a different account: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... icense-key

PM Rusty with your account information to get help with logging into Support.

Maybe the login information for Forum and help desk are supposed to be the same but this is not working for me, even after I have logged out of the forum. No problem logging into the forum, no success with Support. Support does not recognize same user id/password. I know I'm obsolete but it sure would be nice to talk to a human with MM. I guess I'll just miss updates until I just uninstall the program. Appreciate your help, but it just isn't working the way it should.

Account for Forum and Support is the same. You may want to log out of the Forum to login to Support.

If you install a new version over an existing version your License will be retained. To retrieve the License see: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... icense-key

Thanks for the information. That sounds good, however, I do not have my key and am not able to retrieve it since the user name and/or password that I use to access the forum is not recognized when signing in for support/technical help/key retrieval. As I said, I have tried three times to update my password via "forgot my password" process and the new password does not work for anything other than the forum. Suggestions?
Thanks again

Updating MM Gold

by dbonne » Fri Sep 08, 2017 8:03 am

Hello. I am a registered MM Gold customer. I briefly saw that there was an update available, but when I hit "Check for updates" in HELP it does nothing. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks
I need to add another issue discovered during the updating process problem. In trying to contact Helpdesk I find that my password does not work. I went through the "Lost Password" process several times and temporary passwords were sent to my email address. None of these passwords work, nor does the password used to access this forum. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that there are separate login credentials for this forum and MM Helpdesk. Very confusing.
